Kids Play wins The Bobby Award for the best show of the Fringe

23 Aug 2018

The rare wee golden Bobby found a new owner as Broadway Baby Editor at Large Richard Beck presented the statuette to Writer/Director Glenn Chandler right after their performance at theSpace venues yesterday.

The Bobby Award is our way of acknowledging in a sea of thousands of shows where potentially there are many worthy of five stars, some stand out amongst the best of the best. Chandler's Kids Play is an example of what can only happen at the Fringe with a sparkling script and talented cast, with almost unanimous five star reviews from the critics.

There are no fixed number of Bobby Awards presented each year. It could be a dozen or it could be none, however this year Kids Play is the first and perhaps only Bobby to find a new home. We congratulate the cast and creative team on their stunning achievement this season.
