This site-specific, immersive performance, which takes place in a tiny fifth-floor tenement apartment, casts its audience as fellow reunion guests. The plot is clichd and so are many of the characters. The acting and ad-libbing are variable. But you'd be surprised how little of this matters. Sweet and boisterous, "Mrs. Mayfield's" feels like an adventure and an event (1:30).
