Choro music is known as the first Brazil's urban genre and it's largely appreciated in Europe (several countries possess a Choro Society) because of its nice fusion of European court melodies with the Afro-Brazilian unique swing. Uniting technical sophistication and engaging rhythm, Choro is a very danceable music.
The show will reproduce an authentic 'roda de choro', an informal event where the musicians take turns in presenting the choros and telling picturesque stories about them.
As an incentive to engage audience in dancing, there will be a professional Brazilian Dance teacher (Ana Silverio) to demonstrate and offer brief guidance to people of the audience willing to dance.
