Welcome to Writing Ridiculous (The Pilot).

This is a storytelling workshop built on the principles of playfulness and collaboration. We will focus on idea generation before looking deeper into world-building and story structure. By the end of the session we will have collectively crafted a story in our own imaginary sandbox world.

Youre welcome to bring a notebook, but you dont have to! No actual writing skills are required, just curiosity and a compulsion to create.

A bit about myself: my name is Christopher (he/him) I am a playwright & performer from South London. My writing is always very queer and inspired by my love of science-fiction, magic realism, and horror.

We will be in Studio 3 at The Cockpit (NW8 8EH) - I will meet you in the foyer first and we will go up to the studio together. You will need to sign in at reception.

**Please note, no food or drink other than water is permitted in the studio space!

**The space we are using is on the first floor and can only be accessed via a spiral staircase.

**This event is a safe space for LGBTQ+ people. If you plan on attending the event please be respectful of the fact you are sharing the space with members of the trans community.

Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
