A verbatim play created from interviews conducted across America in late 2016, Women for Trump explores why five women were, or were not, persuaded to vote for Donald Trump. The play examines why such a vast number of women chose to vote for him, despite many considering him deeply misogynistic, and considers the long-term social and political factors which may have led to this. Combining analysis with humour and raw personal testimony, the play offers a powerful look at gender in the modern American political landscape, as well as in wider American society.
