A two-part show exploring Natasha and Shaharah's under-represented Indian identities, navigating diaspora, discrimination, and coming of age to find what Indian can mean and look like, with alternating performances. Part 1 features Natasha's Khasi identity as she immigrates to Toronto after childhood in Mumbai. Voices from her life expose discrimination and exotification, forcing her to confront the duality of her actions and circumstances. Part 2 features Shaharahs Guyanese take on Indian diaspora and finding culture after Caribbean colonisation, exploring the responsibilities of a first-generation immigrant, often feeling the 'wrong shade of brown'.
