VIRGIN-ia is a one-woman play about a sexually motivated virgin. Haunted by the name she thinks her evangelical parents gave her as a curse. Virginia takes us on the journey of her 30th birthday and her determination to lose her V-card despite her fears from her Christian upbringing. Along the way, we meet her mother, soon-to-be sister-in-law, best friend, and the suspected love of her life, Jacob. Written and performed by recent MFA Acting graduate Chelsea Paige Butler. Indigo Arts Collective is celebrating International Women's Day with a festival of original new work written and performed by women from across the country and around the globe. From thoughtful and funny to provocative and experimental, there's truly something for everyone. Come celebrate women's stories with us! Latecomers may not be admitted. Please arrive in good time for the start time. Under 18s are not permitted into the theatre for this performance. No re-admittance once the performance has commenced.
