The team behind Variety Lunch Club have hatched a new plan so that you can come and have an afternoon out with friends while watching some of the greatest films ever produced. You can book a 7.50 ticket which gets you a bowl of scouse and a cup of tea along with the film or a 4 ticket for just the film. This month's film is: Some Like It Hot (1959) After witnessing a Mafia murder, slick saxophone player Joe (Tony Curtis) and his long-suffering buddy, Jerry (Jack Lemmon), improvise a quick plan to escape from Chicago with their lives. Disguising themselves as women, they join an all-female jazz band and hop a train bound for sunny Florida. While Joe pretends to be a millionaire to win the band's sexy singer, Sugar (Marilyn Monroe), Jerry finds himself pursued by a real millionaire (Joe E. Brown) as things heat up and the mobsters close in. Performance Information Stalls tickets are available in the stalls with a bowl of Scouse for an extra 3.50. Tickets are available for the show alone in stalls and circle. If you are bringing a large group, every tenth ticket is free. Please call the box office on 0151 709 4321 to book.
