Part performance, part workshop, part discussion... "Un/Dressed" provides a raw and unapologetic exploration of the challenges young people face in their relationships, and how seemingly innocent actions can spiral into an accusation of assault. Using the voices and experiences of young people, and the powerful and unflinching approach of Forum Theatre, "Un/Dressed" fearlessly tackles the uncomfortable truths surrounding relationships, pornography, unrealistic expectations about sex, sexualised genders, and misinformation in the digital age. We follow the story of two teenagers whose first sexual encounter, has an unexpected outcome, leading to consequences that neither of them imagined. Together, we will witness how peer pressure, lack of communication, and fear, can create a perfect storm which affects not just those directly involved, but the whole community.Through forum theatre techniques, the audience is encouraged to identify issues and discuss them, stepping into the shoes of the characters, offering insights and solutions to the challenges presented onstage. This interactive approach transforms passive viewers into engaged participants, fostering empathy and dialogue around crucial issues affecting young people today.Join us for an unforgettable journey into a landscape with uncomfortable truths that are not openly discussed, where the voices of our youth demand to be heard.
