The Legendary UB40 Live!

UB40, featuring Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue, are back on tour and ready to wow British audiences following a massive series of shows stateside last year. They'll be performing their classic hits and gems from their albums Labour of Love Parts I & II, and you can be there with a friend to witness it all and hear every note and harmony live at the O2 Arena on Friday 29 April 2016.

Formed in 1978, UB40 now have over 35 years of musical experience under their belts, playing their own unique style of pop and reggae across the UK and the world. Their line-up might have changed a little over the years, but their sound is still unmistakable and you'll recognise every great hit they play during this evening of fantastic British musical entertainment.

Before the show begins you'll also get to sit down to a delicious two-course meal at The Pearson Room in Canada Square. Choose from an internationally-inspired set menu, pair it with a glass of wine or soft drink and prepare for an evening of live music nearly half a century in the making.

Package includes:

  • A premium ticket to see UB40 at the O2 Arena
  • Sing and dance to all their famous hits from their seminal albums Labour Of Love Parts I & II
  • A two-course meal and a glass of wine or a soft drink
  • Enjoy the internationally-inspired menu set against great views over Canary Wharf

What happens on the day?

You will make your own way to the 02 Arena - just one stop away at North Greenwich - and simply hand over your ticket which will have been sent to you in advance of the event.

Since you’re here…

… we have a small favour to ask. We don't want your money to support a hack's bar bill at Abattoir, but if you have a pound or two spare, we really encourage you to support a good cause. If this review has either helped you discover a gem or avoid a turkey, consider doing some good that will really make a difference.

You can donate to the charity of your choice, but if you're looking for inspiration, there are three charities we really like.

Mama Biashara
Kate Copstick’s charity, Mama Biashara, works with the poorest and most marginalised people in Kenya. They give grants to set up small, sustainable businesses that bring financial independence and security. That five quid you spend on a large glass of House White? They can save someone’s life with that. And the money for a pair of Air Jordans? Will take four women and their fifteen children away from a man who is raping them and into a new life with a moneymaking business for Mum and happiness for the kids.

Theatre MAD
The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
