Every year this pair just get better, and their material gets ruder. Their audience would have it no other way. Playing to packed-houses at the Underbelly, Topping & Butch have created a whole new genre of show at the Fringe - and they simply own it.
With songs and one-liners that would melt granite, their programme tonight is a bullet-train through the most outrageous depths of comedy. We're treated to a myriad of pant-wettingly funny songs including Buffalo Jill (the bull dyke from Wyoming), It's In His Ring (no explanation needed!) and It's Cold Outside (useful tips for corrupting straight boys).
Talking of straight boys, the heterosexual percentage of the audience has swelled to an enormous size (oo-er!), and this just goes to show how much of a Fringe favourite they've become. If you've not already discovered Topping & Butch yourself, now's the time to find out. Go see it.
