Workshop with Artist and Story-Teller, Narvir Singh

Sunday 18th August, 11 a.m.

Join artist and story-teller Narvir Singh for a creative workshop focusing on identity and personal heritage. Narvir will work with participants to reflect on their personal stories of identity and create a poem which can be shared at the end of this friendly session. No prior experience of writing or poetry is needed to participate.

Narvir Singh is an Ealing-based artist specialising in photography, cinematography, and art direction. His work focuses on natural storytelling, emotional empowerment, and the transformation of the abstract into concrete, aiming to foster a sense of oneness. With a strong emphasis on Punjabs influence on Southall, West London, Narvirs art has been exhibited at the BFI, Somerset House and the Barbican and his work is in the National Portrait Gallery Collection.

The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
