A one-man performance spoken directly to the audience. A story told like the teller is thinking it through as he speaks. There is humour in the use of language. If one wants to compare it, one could consider it to be similar in ways to a piece of Beckett. The character speaks as if he's thinking at the time, remembering and describing the things in his room, the room itself and his surprise and reaction to his own thoughts. It is as if he is speaking to the audience, but the audience could be himself.
