The Tale of the Tail
  • Edinburgh Fringe

A child is born... with something special... A tail. The Tale of the Tail is a story of one child's life throughout history and history's reaction to the tail " from being worshipped as a religious symbol, to eroticised as a mysterious outsider and popularised as a contemporary trend/fashion accessory. Using words and music to satirise society throughout time and place from ancient religions to scientific enlightenment and contemporary trends we explore our unhealthy, romanticised obsession with anything different.
