Alasdair Cameron 'one of Scotland's foremost' (Glasgow Cultural Services). 'A master' (EdinburghGuide.com) presents a programme rich in poetry and passion. The Spanish dances and waltzes of Granados are colourful and evocative. The Schubert Impromptus show Alasdair's great melodic gifts and depth of expression. Three Chopin Nocturnes: one of his earliest and two of the biggest in the genre. Here we have real heart-on-sleeve music typical of 19th century Romanticism. Alasdair studied at the RSAMD and later with Louis Kentner in London, making his debut in the Purcell Room. He spent fourteen years performing and teaching abroad.
