Whatever it is, we will survive it - survival being an art. Or an embarrassment?Combining movement, storytelling, and poetry The Return explores the effect of war on Natashas life. This profoundly personal show is based on the experience of living in Croatia during the breakup of the former Yugoslavia. Expect touching, visual theatre with a disarming deadpan humour. Written and performed by Natasha Stanic Mann, directed by Andres Velasquez (Gecko, Theatre Re, Ephemeral Ensemble), with stunning lighting design by Josephine Tremelling, sound design by Chris Prosho and mesmerising music by Iva Bittova, this devised production is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
