Cinema screening of live performance.York Theatre Royal's Olivier award-winning production of E Nesbit's The Railway Children follows the story of Roberta (Bobbie), Phyllis and Peter, three sheltered siblings who are forced to move from London to rural Yorkshire near a railway line. The story deals with themes of justice, the importance of family and the kindness of strangers. The filmed event from the National Railway Museum in Yorkshire features the original locomotive from the much loved 1970 film.
