Welcome to The Powder Room, a burlesque night club where you will be surrounded by the world of the erotic and a plethora of tassel-clad women. At least, this is how they lure you in.
In reality, you will be surrounded by three women and one man slowly and irritatingly over-annunciating their words and who, despite repeatedly removing their tops, seem strangely uncomfortable with their bodies. Furthermore, you will be forced to endure choreography that is so repetitive and boring, it is like watching your Moms old exercise videos from the late 80s.
To the credit of the actors, they really do appear to be putting everything they have into their performances. Unfortunately, everything they have just isnt enough. The show is not entirely lost, though. The costumes are great and with better choreography and a splash of confidence, they may be able bring the sex back into this burlesque.
