The Poozies first burst on to the folk scene in the early 90s and have been well respected pioneers ever since. They are masters of arranging and boast a powerful combination of rhythmic, punching acoustic guitar, the fantastic Camac electro-harp, dextrous fiddle and accordion, and spine-tingling songs in four-part harmony, which are drawn not only from the rich vein of traditional Scottish Gaelic culture but from any enticing genre. Sally Barker (vocals and guitar), Mary Macmaster (vocals and electro-harp), Eilidh Shaw (vocals and fiddle), and Mairearad Green (vocals and accordion).
