A new one-man show that explores ideas of work, family, and finding purpose in a broken society through the lens of absurdity, pathos, and pigeons. The play is a dark comedy that follows an unhinged man named Walden, who lives with several pigeons, who he believes to be his children. Also present is a mannequin with a pigeon's head named Marianne, who Walden believes is his wife. Walden runs his private little world like a twisted assembly line, pushing the birds to produce eggs. Part-manager, part-demented father figure, Walden takes solace in flights of fancy about the inner lives of his pigeon children. His delusions about the personalities of his pigeons seem to blend more and more with reality, as he edges closer towards reckoning with a great hurt done to him in his past.
