The Oxford Alternotives were the first a cappella group set up at the University of Oxford as an alternative to the chapel choirs which dominated the music scene. Set apart from Oxonian tradition, they are known for their creative takes on contemporary music. The Alternotives consist of everyone from medics to musicians to mathematicians, offering different qualities to the team. Whilst the pandemic brought much to a standstill, the Alternotives kept singing, attempting Zoom rehearsals with erratic, and often hilarious, results. Off the back of their performance at the ICCAs, they're thrilled to perform at Fringe again!
