A young man in search of fortune and adventure lands a job on a commercial fishing boat in the middle of the Bering Sea. As he overcomes dire circumstances in this volatile and cut-throat environment, he becomes obsessed with the fortune he gains. His life becomes centred on making more and more money, to the exclusion of friends and family. Its not until a near death experience that John begins to question whether the values he has embraced will ultimately bring him happiness.

The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
