Hugely respected comedian John Martin will perform his stand-up comedy show followed by a talk on his career.John has worked as a top-class comedian for forty years, even smashing the World Record for the longest ever non-stop joke telling session, along the way! But it didnt just happen by accident. Instead, he served a long apprenticeship in all the smoke-filled working mens clubs up and down the length of Britain, literally, anywhere with a light on!John also became a writer of jokes for many of the comedy greats including Jimmy Tarbuck, Sir Ken Dodd and many others.Today, John Martin performs for all the major cruise lines, hotels and at corporate events. His shows are described as being full of energy, excitement and class!John is a great admirer of Max Miller, the top comedian of the 1930s, 40s and 50s who lived all his life in Brighton. The Max Miller Appreciation Society is proud to have produced this show for him.

The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
