The Glass Menagerie
  • Edinburgh Fringe

This gripping drama explores the intimate bonds of family. Southern matriarch Amanda frets constantly over her two adult children, the painfully shy Laura and her restless son, Tom. With manipulation and relentless reminders, Tom brings home a possible suitor for Laura, but reality soon casts a shadow on Amandas dreams for both her children. This iconic emotional family drama made Williams famous and has become a classic within British theatre and is now a set text for A Level theatre studies. This production is keeping to the original script, stage directions and character interpretations.
