Cheery performers Matt Rudge, Luke McQueen and Joe Bor seek to rid the world of glumness in this afternoon hour of quick-fire comic sketches.
The lads largely succeed, with a well crafted bag of gags ranging from Allen keys being picked on by 'real keys', through posh newspapers looking down their noses at tabloids, to a somewhat strange but effective look at the Diet Coke man several years on.
Admitting that they occasionally have trouble writing endings for their sketches, they have invented a generic 'get-out' way of closing things off which works well the first few times, but needs to be used a little less often.
The show itself drew to a well that's all we've got for you finish, which was a bit lame, as several of the sketches were strong enough to have acted as a finale. With just a little more polish, this could be one of the best bits of afternoon madness around. Even in it's rough diamond state though, this show is certainly worth checking out to cheer up your afternoon.
