The Enby Horror Show @ Royal Vauxhall Tavern
  • London Fringe

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, join us this halloween-time for a very special Enby Show tribute to what was a spooky gender-defying queer awakening for many of us; The Rocky Horror Show.

We are so SO excited to be bringing our favourite queer cult classic musical to life at the iconic Royal Vauxhall Tavern. BUT we'll be performing it with our own Enby Show twists, in ways you've never seen before

With an all-trans and non-binary cast, this science-fiction double-feature has all the best songs from the musical (sang live!) with group numbers, transylvanian parties and action-packed romance!

The utterly astounding cast is as follows:

Cyro, our blaisian powerhouse drag king, in the epic role of Dr Frank N FurturBard The Beholder, the multi-lingual usually-masked eco alien, as our Rocky Carrot, everyone's favourite drag vegetable, hosting proceedings as a mishmash of Riff Raff + MagentaFlick, the hairiest woman to come out of Essex, kinging it up as Hot Patootie biker EddieRichard Energy, West End superstar, goes by Big Dick to his friends, as a very bashful BradFizz Sinclair, actress, drag artist and multitalented icon, as a very horny very Northern Janet

The show will be followed by a camp halloweeny DJ set of queer spooky pop by our very own creature-of-the-night Mynxie, who'll keep us dancing until wayyy past bedtime!

COSTUME COMPETITION!

Wear your very best trans-ylvanian Rocky Horror-chic garms and impress us!! Our favourite outfits will win epic prizes

They've performed up and down the country on stages big and small; from national Prides to basement bars, from West End stages to karaoke venues, they've graced all kinds of spaces with their enby excellence. TICKETS

Early bird and standard entry tickets may be standing tickets. There may be limited seats available, if you require a seat but cannot pay for a VIP ticket, see access info below. Aside from that, get there as soon as doors open to secure a seat!

Pay-it-forward tickets are for people who cannot actually attend, but would love to support the show/the work we do at The Enby Show by buying a ticket anyway. This will also help subsidise free tickets for those who cannot afford to pay.

This show will contain flashing lights, use of haze and loud music. Free +1 tickets are available for carers/assistants. If you require any of this or if you have any other questions regarding access please email [email protected].

There will be a Care Bear in attendance at this event, so if you are thinking of going alone and want someone to chat to, or even just stand silently next to - find the person wearing bear ears! They are also there to help resolve any problems in the space - whether that's someone acting inappropriately, any issue with the show or venue, or if you find something triggering/need to talk something through, they are there to help you handle the situation with tact and care.

This show is running a NOTAFLOF (not turned away from lack of funds) scheme. If you want to attend this event but are struggling to pay, please email [email protected] with the subject line 'NOTAFLOF' and we will sort something for you - no questions asked or explanations needed.

Since you’re here…

… we have a small favour to ask. We don't want your money to support a hack's bar bill at Abattoir, but if you have a pound or two spare, we really encourage you to support a good cause. If this review has either helped you discover a gem or avoid a turkey, consider doing some good that will really make a difference.

You can donate to the charity of your choice, but if you're looking for inspiration, there are three charities we really like.

Mama Biashara
Kate Copstick’s charity, Mama Biashara, works with the poorest and most marginalised people in Kenya. They give grants to set up small, sustainable businesses that bring financial independence and security. That five quid you spend on a large glass of House White? They can save someone’s life with that. And the money for a pair of Air Jordans? Will take four women and their fifteen children away from a man who is raping them and into a new life with a moneymaking business for Mum and happiness for the kids.

Theatre MAD
The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
