Boy meets girl. Boy falls in love with girl. There is a pandemic.Jim and Celia have a brief encounter at a dance club but the imposition of a national lockdown due to covid delays their next meeting. Hopes, emotions and dreams are left in limbo. Clouded by uncertainty and suffocating isolation new realities take hold.The play, a devised new writing physical theatre performance, creates a world in which all is not what it seems. As fantasy and reality clash, Jim's emotional world is left in turmoil. What is true and what is not is no longer clear and may no longer matter.The play explores themes of love and isolation and how we cope with the uncertainty they create. It depicts a moment in time, which is extended unnaturally due to the pandemic and explores Jim's internal world and imagined relationship with a woman who is seemingly oblivious to his existence.The Corona-tion of Celia is an exploration of what happens to us when we fall in love, or think we have fallen in love.
