It's the first Big Queer Picnic of 2024, and we want to send it off with a bang with the first Big Queer After Party of this year!

THE BIG QUEER AFTER PARTY

Saturday 13th April 9pm-3am The Yard Theatre

Come party with all the friends you met at the picnic earlier that day, or continue to mix and mingle with other queers in the social area outside.

With two queer DJs soon to be announced, expect a mix of fun pop and alternative, moving into more techno and dance as the night moves on.

Welfare/befriending volunteers will still be available just like the picnic, so there will be lots of opportunities to still build your queer friendship group as you relax and have fun in a different setting.

The party will be held at The Yard Theatre, which is fully wheelchair accessible with both disabled and gender neutral toilets. There will be a full detailed access post on the @bigqueerpicnic instagram, but any further questions can be directed to Abi at [email protected]

Free tickets are available for carers/personal access support workers. We also have low income tickets available for those who need them, please send a quick message across if that is you, on here or on instagram @bigqueerpicnic

There is a cloakroom available.

As with all Big Queer Picnic events, this event is open to queer people of all genders, but the night centres queer women, trans and non-binary people. We ask all cis men in attendance to respect the space they have been welcomed in to.

Theatre MAD
The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
