Pride in Education: Supporting Safe Online Spaces for All
Pride in Education is looking to commission a workshop on Supporting Safe Online Spaces for All. While we are in the process of appointing a facilitator, we invite you to register your interest in attending this vital session.
With the recent changes to Metas Community Standards, which now allow harmful rhetoric targeting LGBTQ+ individuals, women, and other marginalised communities, it is more important than ever to equip educators and learners with the tools to navigate online spaces safely. These policy shifts pose a serious threat to the safety, dignity, and mental wellbeing of those who rely on digital platforms for identity formation, connection, and support.
This webinar will focus on raising awareness of the evolving digital landscape, promoting online safety, and ensuring that all individualsespecially those from marginalised groupscan engage in online spaces without fear of harm.
