In this intense, moving one-woman play, Macleod\'s unnamed grandmother looks back at her life from marriage to the present day. A virgin on her wedding night who becomes a reluctant mother with a philandering husband, a stay-at-home wife who in middle age discovers business skills she never suspected, over decades this woman\'s emotions have been severely tested and sometimes rewarded.
First produced in London in 2013 and described as an \'utterly convincing portrait of love\' (BroadwayWorld.com) and \'a masterclass in the art of the monologue\' (Beige Magazine). Playwright Martin Foreman is the winner of the 2018 Pitlochry Festival Theatre Short Play Award and 2012 London Solo Festival New Writing Prize.
