Everyone in Brighton & Hove knows the name of Streamline Taxis, but did you know how it all started in 1936 with a group of cab drivers trying to improve the trade, and their service to the public? In those far off days, there was no organisation or co-operation between cabbies. Streamline was a new concept, which spread down the coast and eventually throughout England.
