Straight No Chaser, the much-revered US male vocal group,
have announced a London stop on their 'The Open Bar' tour, as they will
perform at the Leicester Square Theatre on Friday 20th
September.
Straight No Chaser is the real deal, the captivating sound
of nine unadulterated human voices coming together to make extraordinary
music that is moving people in a fundamental sense... and with a sense of
humour. On the road, Straight No Chaser has built a reputation as an
unforgettable live act.
With over a decade performing, the group had an incredible
rise to fame - from an undergraduate singing group at Indiana University to
an Atlantic Records signed act with a devoted international fanbase, selling
1.6 million albums in the US and amassing over 100 million views on
YouTube.
Their tightly arranged songs and impeccable harmonies have
seen them collaborate with Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Elton John and
Dolly Parton, to name a few. They've performed on American national TV early
in the morning, on Today; and long after dark, on Late Night with Jimmy
Fallon. They've toured North America, Europe, and Australia, and consistently
rank among Pollstar's top 100 touring acts in North America.
