Apples and Snakes and New Writing South present... Dean Atta leads a beginners workshop for all wanting to take the first steps to performing their poetry live on stage. Participants in this afternoon workshop will have the opportunity to share in the evening open mic at 7pm.There will be some writing exercises but you will mostly work on performance skills. Therefore, you can write a new poem in this workshop or come with a poem you have already written and want to take to the stage.

Theatre MAD
The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
