This is an opportunity for an artist starting out, or someone wanting to try out a new work in early stages. You dont have to be Jewish. Send us some spiel/ footage to [email protected]. Bios
Talia Chain founded Sadeh, the UK's Jewish farm
and land based community in 2017. As CEO, Talias role includes working on the
land, teaching on Sadeh's fellowship programme, running education and
volunteer sessions and fundraising for Sadehs environmental and educational
projects. Talia represents Sadeh on the Board of Deputies and her
horticultural education includes a RHS Level 2 Diploma in Principles of
Horticulture and Permaculture Design Certificate accreditation. Her Jewish
farming journey began after her participation in Hazons Adamah programme in
2014.
Poet, performer and playwright Jordan Charles shines on screen as a talent judge on BBC1's hit show 'All Together Now' alongside Spice Girl Geri Horner! Alongside performing with Gary Barlow, Kaiser Chiefs and Dannii MInogue, Jordan also appeared on BBC1s Let it Shine, and wrote the Official Songs for Hate Crime Awareness Week 2017 and Barnardos 2018. In 2019 he became Artist in Residence at Manchesters historic Islington Mill, working on his first musical, OYA. During the performance shutdown of 2020, he documented his quarantine experiences in a poetic vlog called #LockdownLines. He also produced and co-wrote The Black Life Monologues, a series of monologues cataloguing perspectives on the Black experience in 2020.
Yael Elisheva (they/them) is a performer, director, and teaching artist who recently graduated from the MA Theatre Lab at RADA. Recent performance credits include: Drag at the JW3 Purim Cabaret, Nils Krogstad in A Doll's House at RADA, King Berenger in Exit the King at RADA Studios, and Jim in Dinner at RADA Studios - a role inspired by Aeschluys' Old Man Chorus. Yael recently assistant directed The Ministry of Lesbian Affairs at Soho Theatre. Their project Schlepping will be workshopped and performed at the Coronet Theatre in early July.
Esti is a Queer Jewish DJ spinning anything and everything to make you
strut, slut and schvitz.
Chanukah Lewinsky is a Yiddish music-hall grand dame, and co-host of Homos and Houmous. She took the year off to bird-watch and look after Aunty Debbys parakeetpoor thing has goutbut now is back with a vengeance. Now armed with a third husband, expect riotous laughs, shimmering wordplay and the all the campery you expect from everyones favourite queer Jewish Yiddishist anarchist performance night.
That Ray is a fearless pop punk icon,
and co-host of Homos and Houmous. People say they make drag rad again and
bring waves of witty and irreverent hedonism to the scene. Expect sweat,
blood, piss, a towering wig and disquietingly good makeup. They will be late
but it will be worth it.

Accessibility (from the RVT's website)
The RVT welcomes people with disabilities and will try to help with your access needs. If you have a disability please feel free to contact us before your visit if you want to ask us anything. Limited PA tickets are available for most events and we can try to reserve seating if needed. There are seats with an upward step and some stools on ground level.
The RVT has an accessible main door and is flat throughout the main space. There are toilet cubicles that can be accessed without steps, but are not wheelchair accessible. The nearest accessible toilet is by Vauxhall Bus Station. On busy events we cant always guarantee a clear view of the stage for people in wheelchairs, and the main dancefloor area does get very busy with flashing lights, lasers and haze effect.
