This acclaimed Cumbrian chamber choir returns to the Fringe with a programme of lively and sun-filled choral works from Spain, composed over the last hundred years. Based on traditional texts and beautiful Lorca poems, they evoke the joys, humour and pains of love and life, the summer perfumes of orange and pomegranate, and even a hint of guitar and castanets! 'Extraordinary richness in choral breadth and volume fine music-making and vibrant programming' (Cumberland News). Based in Scotland, director Mark Hindley is well known and respected here and abroad as a choral director and freelance organist and harpsichordist.
