The Shades of Sussex film encapsulates chronicles of Expatriate Life in Sussex throughout the decades. Diversity Resource International (DRI) aims to have this film as a representation of inclusion and positivity for future generations, honouring heritage and culture while living in Sussex. DRI has included 4 young people in the film, aged between 21 to 29 years old, to:oBetter identify and explain the heritage expressed by individualsoUnderstanding what it has been like living in Sussex from their perspectivesoLearn more about their culture and backgroundWe hope that this film better explores heritage and allows us to highlight powerful stories from community members by sharing their first-hand experiences. The partnership of DRI, Vandu Languages, and The Lewes Depot are essential for heightening culture and heritage across Sussex.
