Join us for an evening of groundbreaking performances from Sexquisite: a sex worker arts company creating multidisciplinary, political and stigma defying work, with an afterparty from queer icons and emerging DJ collective + club night: SLAGLAND
THE CABARET - WHAT TO EXPECT:
Join us as we grapple with what it means to encounter love as a sex worker through various forms of art and performance.
An array of performances responding to sex workers navigating love in and outside of the workplace across multiple disciplines including: dance, pole, aerial, poetry, theatre, comedy and more.
Where does the girlfriend experience end and begin? What does it mean to date and have sex for money? What happens when you fall in love with one of your clients? How can you expect to find love when our profession is so heavily stigmatised and we are shamed for the ways we pay the rent?
THE AFTERPARTY - WHAT TO EXPECT:
Join club night + DJ collective SLAGLAND for a night of dancing + slutty tunes. Recently featured by VICE, they aim to use nightlife + entertainment to promote sex positivity, freedom + self expression. You can expect: Queer electronic slagthems! Garage, DnB, techno & classic queer bangers...
