Sentimental value: a love letter and emotional writing workshop Join us this Saturday 9 March, 1.30pm-3pm for an online love letter writing workshop led by Gwen Dupr <3
This workshop is part of a wider public programme accompanying Ashleigh Fisks
exhibition, I will live many years in this room, showing at SET Lewisham
until 24 March.
Participants are invited to bring a love token or object for inspiration and
to share with the group. This could be something that might be referred to as
having sentimental value, and can be a physical or remembered object. We will
look at examples of love letters and emotionally-infused writing and objects
including works from the exhibition, Adele lyrics, TV show references, and
early modern locked letters, before writing our own letters.
This workshop is free and open to all but please RSVP by purchasing a free ticket . Participants will be sent a zoom link and joining details in advance.
The exhibition I will live many years in this room is open at SET Lewisham Thurs-Sun 1.30pm-6pm.
Supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
