Henry Purcell's Sacred and Secular. Henry Purcell (1659-95) is widely regarded as one of the greatest English composers developing a uniquely English style of Baroque in both sacred and secular music. This concert performance of Purcells celebrated opera, Dido and Anaeas, sets it alongside the sumptuous verse anthems he composed for the Restoration Chapel Royal where he was a boy chorister and subsequently organist. The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
