Ruskin Live: The 1853 Edinburgh Lectures. The great art critic John Ruskin delivered four lectures at the Philosophical Institution in Queen Street, Edinburgh. His themes were Gothic versus Neoclassical Architecture, JMW Turner and the history of European landscape painting, and an emergent group of young artists: The Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.
