World-renowned tapestry studio Dovecot presents the life and work of Renaissance Master Raphael (1483"1520) in a landmark digital exhibition and tapestry marking his 500th anniversary. In partnership with the Italian Cultural Institute and Magister Art. A multimedia installation, visitors will explore Raphael's artistic genius and experience recreations of his masterpieces including Madonna of the Goldfinch (1505-06), The Deposition of Christ (1507) and The Transfiguration (1516"20). Inspired by Raphaels genre-defining tapestry designs, Dovecot weavers will create a contemporary tapestry, interpreting a section of Raphaels famous Sistine Chapel Cartoons (The Royal Collection/V&A). The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
