An hour before Manal's family come over for Iftar, she opens up to her white boyfriend about her identity crisis, honour killings, and the Twilight Saga. Manal's tough past and raw life events unravel as she prepares her Iftar meal funded by her benefit money. Mixed between Manal's brutal truth and her wandering mind, RAH uses movement, skits and pure roast battle style comedy conversing with her white boyfriend. RAH is semi-autobiographical and based on some real life feelings and events that the writer, Laila Latifa, has experienced. This play was written in memory of Amina and Sara Said, as well as Shafilea Ahmed, Honour killing victims who's stories, sat close to home for Laila Latifa.
