We're inviting you to learn with us and to discuss this topic as a community.
We'll challenge your preconceptions with a quiz, before deferring to our
panel of activists and experts in kink and the law. Well learn more about
LGBTQ+ kink history, the biggest legal challenges facing the kink scene, and
get our teeth into topics like venue closures and licensing. Youll be able to
ask your questions during the Q&A!
Quench are proud as members of the kink community to be able to host this night of discovery and discussion. We believe it's important to talk about these issues as a community, and to work in solidarity - and to have a fabulous time doing it!

In the discussion about kink and the law there will be mention of discrimination (tw: homophobia, racism) and negative interactions with the police.The quiz is informal - no need to revise!As Kellen Farshea (ACT UP, Backlash) puts it, "Kink is the orphan child of the sexual revolution because no one wanted us. But we can change that, can't we?"
