Puzzle is a performance created with deep wisdom, taking infants step by step towards the joy of cognition. How does the world look to a small child? Is it round and yellow, or a blue square? Maybe green, soft and hollow? Children's knowledge of the world around them begins with a variety of geometric shapes (cube, sphere, cone) and colours (green, red, yellow, blue, orange). Lithuanian choreographer Birute Baneviciute puts these coloured shapes together as a puzzle of children's developmental stages. Dancers crawl, creep and bounce, accompanied by specially created music suitable for children aged 0 to 3.
