PSYCHE, a gypsy countess and poet, wanders across Europe during the Napoleonic era, in a chauvinistic society challenging her independence. The show is based on the book Psyche: Writings Of An Erstwhile Poetess, written by the Hungarian author Sandor Weores, in 1972, under the Soviet regime of Hungary, as a pamphlet of censorship. A self cleansing in 60 minutes. Performed by: Stella Abel, directed by: Mark Tarnoki, produced by: Steve Green, translated (for the first time) by: David Cseh.
