Placeholder follows the early-life crisis of a somewhat dramatic twenty-something. After the death of an ex-girlfriend, Sophie begins to rethink her life, career and relationships. Faced with her own mortality, she decides the best option is to become a nun. One hitch: shes an atheist. And her boyfriend doesnt seem too happy with the decision. A piece of new writing written and performed by students from the University of Oxford, the play asks questions weve all faced: What if Im just average? Am I wasting time? Can an atheist become a nun?

The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
