A mother bequeaths her beloved piano to her children in a will, insisting that they keep it. They do not want it because of what it represents to them but they can not bring themselves to dispose of it. They are trapped by an idea. Think Waiting For Godot with a piano.The style of the work is influenced and underpinned by the theories of Peter Brook, Bertolt Brecht and Tim Crouch. Rob Thompson performs this play alone in a space and tells the story of the piano 35462, relying on the audience and their imaginations to create the artifice. The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
