Festival Director Nicola Benedetti performs a mesmerising violin solo in a classical programme that explores the animal kingdom

Some of theworlds best classical music pieces are inspired by the animal kingdom. RalphVaughan Williamss The Lark Ascending is no exception; the soaringviolin solo represents the movements of the skylark.

Children,and their grown-ups, are invited to encounter a classical programme thatplayfully explores how composers are drawn to portraying animals of all shapesand sizes in their music.

Incollaboration with the Philharmonia, Festival Director Nicola Benedetti is thesolo violinist in this relaxed, family-friendly performance of Williamssmasterpiece alongside beloved classics.

The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
