Lotophagi Theatre Company brings you a brand new adaptation of an Ancient Greek Tragedy: Euripides' 'Bacchae'! Its the height of the psychedelic 60s and Pentheus, a cynical and jaded young man, believes he is being intentionally tormented by the new-age cult of Dionysus. Taking place over the course of a singular day, this play follows Pentheus as he comes to terms with his mothers decision to abandon him in favour of joining the cult. Dionysus may claim to be a god, but that is the one thing our tragic protagonist is itching to prove wrong, even if he destroys himself in the process. 'Pentheus' is the story of a young man surrounded by sex, drugs, and social change, exposing the confusion that may lie behind the barricades of learned, self-destructive behaviours.

The Make A Difference Trust fights HIV & AIDS one stage at a time. Their UK and International grant-making strategy is based on five criteria that raise awareness, educate, and provide care and support for the most vulnerable in society. A host of fundraising events, including Bucket Collections, Late Night Cabarets, West End Eurovision, West End Bares and A West End Christmas continue to raise funds for projects both in the UK and Sub-Saharan Africa.
