Screenings, Performances & Conversations - showcasing the work of international PACE artists followed by Q&AGuest artists include Kenneth Uphopho and Bola Stephen-Atitebi from the multi award-winning production of Esthers Revenge - an experiential play inspired by true events exploring themes around race, colonisation, violence against women, political and social injustice. Performers include Scottish-Nigerian jazz-folk-soul singer-songwriter and guitarist. Bumi Thomas and Mercy Nabirye will be showcasing the work of Kauma Arts. Also on the line up are Joshua Alabi and Angela Peters of Kininso Koncepts - a creative organization from Nigeria established to entertain, inform, educate, challenge and transform the intellectual, social, and cultural perspectives of communities using theatre, film, documentary and creative strategy. Applying unique storytelling techniques, performance styles and deeply rooted research in culture and tradition, Kininso utilise creativity, technology, stories, and design innovation to tell authentic African and contemporary stories, to challenge the status quo, and to shift perceptions.
